Fire
Don,

I don't do Facebook but Carolyn has been showing me the grass fire going by you.
Man it looks like it's time to get the gang plow out and start turning the dead grass over and start a controlled back fire going.
I hope the best for you with this going on.

Kurt

RE: Fire
Up here in these hills, grasshoppers are sort of a perennial thing, but this year they're bad. Sounds like they're pretty thick from Montana to Kansas.

RE: Fire
I haven't seen hoppers here. I think the crop dusters are keeping them in check spraying for corn bore and fruit flys.
Also the pheasants have disappeared. Haven't seen any for many years.

RE: Fire
LOL, yeh tons of black smoke. This fire moved a whole bunch slower that previous ones. If this thing would of moved like the others, they would be setting fire lines clear up on the Cheyenne River by now.

RE: Fire
So far we haven't lost any pasture, but my neighbors to the south are about wiped out.
