the time has come ..
The time has come to say goodby.
It's been 20 years of much fun and friendship. Along the way, I was lucky to meet some very fine folks in this sport, Don, Kurt, Smitty, Bobw, John (in OK), the Family of Quigley-ites in Forsyth, MT. Many offered tips, others a warm hand-shake, others said thanks for a tip I might have passed on to them. Gone but not forgotten the evening stories and a cold drink.
Now the rifles and all other things have found new homes to much younger, eager shooters. I wish them as much enjoyment as they brought to me along the years.
And to Don and Carol who shared their home and property with me thru the years, how can I say enough thanks.
Now I take my leave of smoky fields, not to ever forget the sounds and smells. and the faces and company of my friends.
Take care, good health to all,

Old Jim
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

A post like this makes me sorry it didn't last one more year for you. Would have been honored to meet you Jim.
