Talk about get'n kick'd in the nutz-So sad to learn of this.
Hope his family knows just how highly he was looked up to by the BPCR crowd.

RE: Sadness hit the bpcr community
Didn't know Steve but he was instrumental in my obtaining my first Ballard, a Pacific in 40-63. It is telling that someone even as new to BPCR as myself already owed him one. Very sad news for his family and close friends -- and judging from the posts of his I've read a good many more than family and friends will miss his presence.

RE: Sadness hit the bpcr community
Never met him personally but ordered some delrin wiping rods from him on phone and asked if he took cc cards......he said he would mail them out that day and just send a check when I got to it. Not a lot of those good old type of business people around in modern days. Prayers and thoughts to family.

"...just send a check when I got to it."
He did the same for me when I ordered from him and he had never heard of me. I met him at the Byers Regional 1000 yd shoot in Sep and thanked him for being a real American. Prayers for the family.
