This part of the woods we call them sheep heads. They are a little on the oily side but if you throw them in the pan as soon as you can they are good enough to chase the hunger pains away  They get on the mushy side if kept to long in the fridge after you filet them.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Next year I will do something a little different when I get done shooting. I will find a place to stow the fishing gear and maybe find a way to carry a canoe or a inflatable boat. I get around some very nice streams when I'm in the National Forests.
