RE: New lot of OE
Stephen I picked up a case at the Q for $375. a case. KIK is a good powder, nothing wrong with it. I switched to OE from KIK because it an edge over the KIK for accuracy in my rifles and it's a little faster with lower vertical.

Stephen, Check with powder inc. I usually get a pound or two of oldE when we order a case of Swiss.
Those 4 shots is with the old lot that I have a 1/2 can left. I had more consistent groups and a lot smaller.
When I have a little time I will work with the new lot and it will come around. It will just take some component switching to come up with what I can use that I call good.
Some of those groups on that target I see some fat fingering but I don't like the vertical.

RE: New lot of OE
Don there are 6 groups I shot with the new lot. Starting in the center was 78 gr increased 2 gr with each group to 88 gr at 6-O-clock going counter clock wise. The bunch at 5 o clock was the new lot shot with the load of the old lot at 3 o clock.
I went to the range again today after the 1.5 KIK ladder loads looked bad yesterday and loaded 21 rounds using the norma brass and it showed an improvement over the Starline cases I used yesterday. That shows that this lot needs a little more compression plus I added a second wad over the powder then a lube and a card under the bullet. 84 gr load compressed .300" gave a 5 shot round at 2-3/4". I have time for one more range session after a Doctor visit I have to make that I cant miss then I have to get busy casting more bullets and get them loaded get the camper loaded and take off Friday noon.

It all depends on how much you buy--
