Hey Lumpy, I don't think that is what they were talking about. The .40/60 Winchester, for their '76, is a straight taper case rather than a bottleneck. That's what makes me wonder...

It's the .40-50 sharps bn. The 60 was tapered. I don't think the .40-50 would be to good for silhouette.

I think I will resurrect the .28-30 Maynard.
I like the old cartridges. Might see if RMC can make some cases for this caliber.
