Spring time at the casting shack - Gunlaker - 03-22-2014 Well, almost. The daytime temperatures are getting above the freezing point. The lake is still frozen and makes for an excellent view between casting sessions. [attachment=298] Over several days I managed to cast 500 bullets for load development for my .40-65 Shiloh, about half of the Saeco #740 and the other half being BACO 400gr tapered money bullets. Chris. RE: Spring time at the casting shack - Don McDowell - 03-22-2014 Gorgeous view Chris
RE: Spring time at the casting shack - Gunlaker - 03-24-2014 Thanks Don. It's a really nice place. I don't live there full time but I'd like to. We've got a cabin up there that we go to on some weekends. Early spring is one of my favorite times. Very few people and no bugs :-) Chris. RE: Spring time at the casting shack - Don McDowell - 03-24-2014 I'ld have a terrible time during the ice out, should I cast bullets , or should I cast a spinner.
RE: Spring time at the casting shack - Old Jim - 04-16-2014 I had plans for the range today, but with the 35-40 mph SE winds, well .., I'm back in the casting shed again. Cain't ever have enough bullits! |
