RE: Take a break - Don McDowell - 09-08-2013 2 of em are in the freezer, the rest of the damn things didn't want to bite nothing we had.. RE: Take a break - powderburner - 09-09-2013 so how are you liking your new boat , looks like you at least have some water to play in, them fish look like they belong in a skillit, RE: Take a break - Don McDowell - 09-09-2013 Loving the boat. Even up there at almost 9000 ft. it'll run at 35 mph . Sure can get in off the water in a hurry when the weather goes bad. Altho we haven't used it a whole bunch so far it's only burned about 8 gallons of gas for the entire time. At that rate it's pretty cheap to run. RE: Take a break - Kurt - 09-09-2013 That looks like some fine water Don. Is that up at encampment? I need to see the whole picture of that boat in case I ever drag my stump beat up flat bottom river boat up there so I know it's you bouncing on the waves ![]() Kurt RE: Take a break - Don McDowell - 09-09-2013 Kurt that right there at the head of Douglas creek, just north of Keystone about 6 miles. The nice thing about this boat it don't bounce on the waves, dang thing just slices thru like a knife. Smoothest ride this side of an aircraft carrier I've ever had on the water. RE: Take a break - parkergunz - 09-09-2013 DonAnd you missed 5" of rain, hail, lightening and wind between Saturday afternoon and this morning at Medicine Rocks to do this! |
