Sometimes - Don McDowell - 03-13-2021 You find the dangedest things. Today I decided to load some test ammo for the new 44-77. I hadn't loaded any 44-77's since I moved everything to the man cave. So in the process of getting all the dies for it located, I came across a Ch4d 44-77 Shiloh die. Don't recall ever buying one of those, but by dang it works just fine. Sizes cases just right to hold the .435 patched bullets. Could be just a little tighter, but I think it'll work.. When this weather clears I suppose we'll find out.
RE: Sometimes - Kurt - 03-13-2021 I finished my man cave last fall and I'm looking for stuff. ![]() You can stack up some hay bale so that snow don't get this way. I finally made it to the range yesterday and shot 100 .45-2.6 rounds. Making up for lost time
RE: Sometimes - Don McDowell - 03-13-2021 Seems like the only decent day to shoot is the day something else has to be done. LOL But I've got everything ready , just in case. RE: Sometimes - Semtav - 03-13-2021 You missed a good one !!!!! RE: Sometimes - Kurt - 03-15-2021 HEY DON, YOU DIDN'T STACCK THOSE HAT BALES HIGH ENOUGH ![]() It started snowing 2 hrs ago and the ground is white with 25+ mph winds. Cant see 100 yards. RE: Sometimes - Don McDowell - 03-15-2021 LOL it got pretty wound up in someplace's here to. WyDOT say's they'll have to bring in the rotary plows to get the interstates open. No wind today, but it's snowing hard enough that visibility is only about 200 yards. Best part of this storm is it hasn't gotten very cold yet. Temps been staying between 25 and 37. RE: Sometimes - Randy Bohannon - 03-16-2021 Male Robins showed up today , seven of them in the yard. I25S was closed here Sunday night until yesterday afternoon. 2’ of the hard to move snow from here to Denver, but from here to Sheridan is dry and no snow. We got another 5”-6” last night, nice start for spring. I have one new rifle and two new revolvers to shoot someday soon. RE: Sometimes - Don McDowell - 03-16-2021 25 is still closed from Douglas to Cheyenne. RE: Sometimes - Randy Bohannon - 03-16-2021 I am not surprised given the tremendous amount of snow over such a large area. One thing I love about Wyoming we don’t screw around with keeping roads open until the event is over. I guess in years gone by to many first responders getting hurt or killed rescuing people who should not have been out driving no matter what. |
