RE: Desert international Scores - Kurt - 03-05-2021

Don,
It looks like Steve Farringer is holding pretty hard.
Are there and reports on the conditions ?

I wonder what held the attendance down?

RE: Desert international Scores - Don McDowell - 03-05-2021

The winds have been a bit tricky both days in the second target. Fishing tailing from 7 and 4 at 20-40 mph on the 800. The 900 it was mostly a matter of deciding who was lying the mirage or the flags, they didn't seem to agree with each other much.

Well that explains why the low score for a 30 shot string.
I figured some conditions were going on.

I don’t know Kurt even with the wind problems some of those guys didn’t drop very many points at those distances

I wonder who Steve Farringer’s spotter is? He’s definitely got it worked out. Boy I hope he’s shooting a 45-70. I am surprised Ray was the only ML shooting. I guess maybe I should start practicing with my Gibbs a bit and try to go next year, I would have got 2nd if I had showed up this year. Your snooze you lose. Thanks for the updates Don.
