A few nice ones. He has a .50-90 with 30 inch heavy tapered round barrel, semi-fancy wood with pewter forend tip that sounds nice.

A lot to choose from actually. Very encouraging. The configuration didn't appeal to me when I started shooting these works of art... but now days, the idea of a 28" Business rifle in 50/70 with a slow twist ..is a very tempting item. I've got my 2 1/2" 50.. but I'd really like to put more time in with a 50/70. I think its got a lot to offer...not to mention being a lot of fun. Spread too thin at the moment though...so I'll just watch for now. Thanks for the heads up.
J.B.

I am waiting on the .50-90 Hartford listed above those with the magic word “sold” beside it or I would have probably jumped on the Business .50-90

I am awaiting a 40-90 SBN with a 14 twist barrel. Planning on using it for paper patch loads.

I called Bill and he allowed me to switch my order o the .50-90 Business Rifle! Never had a round barrel

RE: Business Rifles - Michael Johnson - 03-15-2020

My order is direct thru Shiloh from 18 months ago. It is actually for a No. 1 with a heavy round 32 inch barrel. The pistol grip will help with the torque from this cartridge. It will sport an MVA Long Range Buffalo tang sight and one of Jim Kluskens long range globe sights up front. Twist is 1/14. Three scope blocks 7.2 and 21 inch spacing so I can use a MVA 10X scope for long range and my 28inch MVA for Silhouette. Semi fancy wood AAA finish with checkering. I will shoot paper patch with this rifle. I am looking forward to the challenge after learning with 45-70, 40-65, 45-2.6, and 50-90. Bring it on!
