Don, did you say you were using this to reduce the 44-77 jamison down for PPB. My rcbs die is a little lacking in squeezing it down except for some fairly thick paper.

Yessir, the lee 43 mauser for greasers and bore+ patched, and 43 spanish for bore - patched.
The lee shell holders fit those Jamison cases perfectly.

Fraid I don't follow on the 43 Spanish "bore - patched" criteria Don.Huh

If you're wrapping a bullet to say .434 or smaller, the 43 spanish is the way to go, it's just a tight tight fit on .432 bullets wrapped in 9lb.Matter of fact if you don't have a good chamfer on the inside case mouth you'll tear the occasional patch when seating the bullet.

I've a .434 so the Mauser is what I need then?

Yes going to that size the mauser will be your friend. But as cheap as those die sets are , having one of each is handy assurance...
