Hollow Base Flat point .457 - Alan R McDaniel Jr - 10-11-2018 I shoot a HB RN 405 gr from a Lee mould in my 1885 High Wall. I shoots great. I tried it in a Henry lever gun and I shoots fantastic in it as well. The problem is that the bullet, even when seated to the last groove, is too long. OAL is 2.64" and it will not feed in the Henry. In fact I thought I had a real problem when it stuck in the action. I load it single and it shoots great. Now I'm looking for a Flat Point bullet with the hollow base. Does anyone know if such a thing exists without having to get one made up? Alan RE: Hollow Base Flat point .457 - Kurt - 10-12-2018 You most likely will find what you want here. http://www.accuratemolds.com/catalog.php?page=all If you can't find it tell Tom what you want and he will make it. |
