We didn't get any snow here, but did get some pretty good rain. Temps hanging in the low 40's and cloudy.

It started snowing in Casper a little after 7 this morning. Rained most of the night I think. It's melting as fast as it's falling now though. Just wet streets.

It's melting pretty fast now, a couple 6" branches came of the neighbors Box Elder tree and rested on my garage.I had just serviced my chainsaws and 20 min. of work all is good. Will be putting my electrical service line underground this summer branches just missed them.Rain is good most of the time, going to be gorgeous this summer.

It's dropped into the 30's now. Some snow but nothing serious yet. Lot's of wind. The fruit trees were blooming really pretty but that might be over by morning..
The pastures are all greened up with the moisture we've had. Saw some prairie lilies blooming Sunday, so if it don't get real cold should be a good spring for wild flowers.

The high Plains of Wyoming are spectacular when the moisture is there.I had tomatoes in the ground this time last year and they went "Amazon".I got to harvest about 2/3 of them then October came and that was it.Folks in Buffalo had never seen tomatoes like I grow them people were coming by and taking pictures. I have at least a two year supply of Marinara sauce after sending a bunch to my kids, kept the neighbors in fresh tomatoes all summer.Going to be a cool summer this year not planting anything this year.

I was hoping the cherries and plumbs would get to set on this year, about to run out of the last big crop we canned.

RE: Wyoming spring morning - Gussy - 04-26-2017

My cherry trees are in full bloom. Peaches near full and the apricots are nearly done. Apples, pears are just thinking about it. Some plums just opening and the hybrids are in full bloom.

Chris if they got the snow in Worland, that hit the other side of the BigHorns, and if this storm that starts tonite acts like they think it will, you might want to bring your water wings if you're planning on shooting prone. LOL
