Kurt, Have you thought about Oregon Barrel Company? Another who could make that, I'm pretty sure, is John Taylor. Shoot sharp, Mike

Mike.

My .44-75 Ballard is with a barrel from him. It has a awful deep groove. But it might be OK, don't know yet.

I thought you already had a barrel from Oregon. I've got one too, going on a rolling block. The action is barreled now, wood isn't fitted yet.

It's hard to find a .438/.446 barrel. I called Ron Smith a couple days ago to order a gain twist but he s not setup for the .438-.446.

Kurt, You say your Oregon barrel has deep grooves. Have you slugged that barrel? Just wondering. Shoot sharp, Mike

Bob.

Thank you.
I called TOW and GM about that barrel for the HVY .44 Sharps. Everything is OK except the tulip flare. It's not long enough to cut threads on for the CPA. I have to call Gail to make sure.

Mike.

No I did not slug the barrel. Paul at CPA measured it when he mounted the barrel and stamped the dimensions on the underside of the barrel.

And are the grooves deeper than you expected? I'm curious because I haven't slugged or measured my barrel by Oregon.
