RE: New bullet, new prob ... - Don McDowell - 07-18-2013 Vlad have you tried a harder alloy with those baby guns? RE: New bullet, new prob ... - sluggun pilgrim - 07-19-2013 Hi Don Tried some 1:25 tin lead but the leading was the same. Now that the leading has been solved by not using a dry patch, I'll try some different breech seating dephs to improve on my group size, then I'll try some 1:25 and 1:20 alloys. Thanks Vlad RE: New bullet, new prob ... - Don McDowell - 07-19-2013 Vlad maybe jump right into the Lyman #2 alloy, or at least go to a 16-1 . RE: New bullet, new prob ... - sluggun pilgrim - 07-22-2013 Hi Don The weather was terrible last Saturday, so the proposed experimentation for the day was cancelled. Our place looked like January in Montana , instead of snow the ground was white with hail stones. Hopefully we will see some decent weather next weekend. I'll keep you informed on my progress.
