RE: Phoenix 2020 report - Don McDowell - 03-16-2020 Oh sure now you tell me about the flinders...LOL RE: Phoenix 2020 report - Fogman01 - 03-20-2020 Don, you'd would have bought one and showed me, then shot it, told me how great it was, and how I really needed to get one, just trying to steer me into messing around with flintlocks while you continue to refine your cartridge skills for the next match!!! RE: Phoenix 2020 report - Don McDowell - 03-21-2020 Nownow... I have my 40 some odd year old fullstock Hawken flinter you could come up and shoot, and see just how great the things are..

RE: Phoenix 2020 report - Kurt - 03-21-2020 Steve. Don't take Jims advice paper patching. It's to hard to stay close to you now shooting those greasy kid lead pellets now. If Harris will have matches this year I will bring you a hundred or so so you can warm up to them and really get tough to get close to your scores on the leader boards.
RE: Phoenix 2020 report - Aviator - 03-21-2020 HA! Kurt, I've seen you shoot, you have no trouble keeping up with me! I'm not dissatisfied using lumps of grease, but then I may be just ignorant.... Usually willing to try something new! RE: Phoenix 2020 report - Don McDowell - 03-23-2020 Here's the USIMLT 1000 yard team match scores. I've not been clear on how they chose up the teams, but that match was an absolute hoot. 20 shots no sighters from 1000 yards. [attachment=1684] |
