Some rifle/bullet combinations seem to work well with slip fit, and others not so much. My .40-65 shoots extremely well with a slip fit Saeco #740, but with the tapered BACO Money bullet it seems to want a bit of neck tension.
How are the Boomer moulds to cast with? Do they use big blocks?

Bullets drop out of Boomer's molds fairly easily, and his blocks are about the same size as Brooks'. Speaking of Brooks' bullets, those I shot today were scattered around into a 8" + - area on the target @ 200 ... hummm. It may be that the charge was too heavy, so keeping that in mind, I will try some more @ 68-72, another day.

Thanks Jim, they sound like nice molds. I don't shoot my Browning much, but I've found a couple of bullets it likes. The best powder charge for me has always been about 69gr, whether FFg or FFFg.
One of these days I'll have to try a Boomer mold. And a KAL too. Both made up here in Canada. So far my custom molds have come from Steve Brooks. I keep going back to him because the quality is great, and he and his wife are really nice people to deal with.
