RE: Tags - Stephen Borud - 06-28-2016 Amen to that Don.
RE: Tags - Old Jim - 06-29-2016 I have used my 45/90 roller in the past for a sure (LOL) kill! on antelope. I have designed a cast bullet mostly for buffalo hunting, but it works well on these prairie goats. it doesn't open up, I don't think. Mostly just a .45 caliber hole thru both sides. My working load is 88.0 gr. of 1.5 Swiss, or OE and the bullet goes into 4" @ 200 yds, with open sights. RE: Tags - Don McDowell - 06-29-2016 Lots of bucks down there in your favorite spot Jim.Some pretty darn nice ones . RE: Tags - Old Jim - 09-26-2016 Checked rifles, packing duds, gear, boolits, knives, tags etc. for trip to WY next month. Looking forward to seein' friends. And maybe look ol' speed-goat right in the eye !Jim RE: Tags - Don McDowell - 09-26-2016 Long range forecast says it will be cooling down and maybe some moisture, double check the clothing list. Could be 50 and snowing, or could be tank top and flip flop weather.... RE: Tags - Kurt - 09-26-2016 Time is getting close. You guys have a great time. I didn't get any tags for Illinois this year. I have deer in the yard as well as Turkey's, But I will settle for squirrel on a stick over a wood camp fire this year. Might get a bow tag if I get hungry.
