RE: Put your hands toget... - Kurt - 09-11-2015 There is nothing wrong with disagreements as long as they don't turn into being abusive. Disagreements can be worked out to a positive if it is thought out on both sides. How can we disagree with that.? Shoot sharp, Mike RE: Put your hands toget... - Stephen Borud - 09-12-2015 Agreed! Thanks for a great forum Don and Bob. SB RE: Put your hands toget... - Rowdy Rick - 09-12-2015 This is the best forum on BPCR IMO, thanks Don and Bob! . Kurt is pretty hard to get along with in person, but tones it down for the forum Just kidding! He is a wealth of knowledge and a good friend, and fellow flintknapper. It is great to have a forum like this with people willing to share their life's accumulation of gun knowledge.

RE: Put your hands toget... - SgtDog0311 - 09-18-2015 Ten years after getting discharged from the service I bought an M1A but I didn’t get started back to shooting rifles with any seriousness until after I retired. I’d learned to reload before retirement but hadn’t ever shot cast bullets I hadn’t bought till 2010. When you have that much catching up to do and not that many years to do it in the help you get is really appreciated. I have not been here that long but the help I’ve got here has been invaluable. You can read all you want to but if you are gonna save yourself from errors which cost a lot of money to correct you eventually have to start asking direct question of people who have been there.. And the more technical you get the more that kind of help is needed. Now I’m at another crossroads with Black Powder and Single Shots the learning curve starts again. Having taken another fork in the path I’m beholden to those here (and you know who you are) who are both encouraging and helpful. Maybe if I don’t make too many missteps I can find my way to one of the local matches this year. All that said, this is a great site and I’m grateful to those responsible for it being available. |
