I had to move the car for the furnitue truck thi morning and its therm=mometer said -18 at 0830,
dont look like it will warm much today .
i talked to Rick K and to Dennis Borud and asked them to take it back also , no luck ,,, maybe bigO is spreading the temps as well as the wealth. "Quien sabe"

Man Dean I figured you were far enough south to get away from that cold WX. You must be pretty high in altitude.
We got some snow yesterday about 4" that sure makes it look nice but the temp now is +12 but falling all morning.
Second Deer season is over and Deer have been holding out in my back yard all weekend with all the hunters in the neighboring fields. I guess maybe they knew I didn't have a deer tag this year Sure felt like dropping that big buck that skinned my new fruit trees before the season. He is out there chasing a bunch of does this morning.

Don, Not a real "Norski", but you're right; a lot of this cold stuff is coming from us in sodbuster country. How much more -20* to -30* do you guys want? We got plenty of it to go around to all, if interested. It does sound like it is supposed to warm somewhat starting about Thursday; at least the daytime highs should be above zero for a change.

Kurt, I am close to 6000 feet here. The high desert . Real interesting weather swings here. Two years ago it never got below 55degrees .last year dry and -30 this year we got snow and cold again. It just cannot make up its mind here.

Well Dean if you have snow on the ground to deflect the warm sun it will get colder than the bare ground.
I think we are going back into the ten year cycle with this weather. seems every ten years winters get worse. It will at times drop down -30 or more here but the last few years 0 +- a little for a few days is about it.
Don't tell the Global warming guys that I forgot to pay the Nat Gas bill to keep the Ocean fire ring water heater burning.
Down to 5 degrees now and the winds are pushing that dry snow. Glad I dont have to go to work in the morning.

Day before yesterday was -26 on the way to work, could see fog in the valley up ahead in my gas field, -36. -31 yesterday. They said it was going to warmup to a balmy -4, -12's the warmest I saw it.
