Just to be above board with this, we will auto-ban users who do not appear to belong. Often times this is pretty clear, such as if you're logging on from China or India, etc. Chances are you're more interested in activities other than shooting. If you're not, feel free to email 'admin@historicshooting.com' with your appeal.

Anyway, that being said, our new plug in makes it pretty simple to view your registration location before we approve your membership. If you're abroad and think you might get labeled as an unwanted member, please email 'admin@historicshooting.com' as soon as you sign up.

Just to be clear, we intend to discuss historical firearms in English, with an emphasis on activities in/around North America. Users who fit into that very broad box are more than welcome (and please bring your friends). Other users are approved on a case-by-case basis only.

I tried to put my location in the appropriate information box but had no luck still can't do it. What am I doing wrong?

It should just be a matter of...

1) Click User CP
2) Click Edit Profile
3) Under "Location: Where in the world do you live?" put what you'd like it to say
4) Click Update Profile

If it doesn't work that way, and you still want it changed, PM me what you want and I can do it in the admin portal.
