RE: Take a break
Depending on where we go but we've got access to most all the trout, kokanee, walleye, sauger, northern's , muskie, crappie, and bass.
We bought a drift sock when we got this boat just haven't used it.
One of Carol's coworkers husband was out on Glendo yesterday morning early and nailed a bunch of 8 and 10 lb walleye.

RE: Take a break
From 1958 to 2000 I spent all my free time on the Mississippi river. Raised the kids on the river and now they are raising their Kids on it. I started with a 14 foot Canadian hull and ended with a 42' Gibson House boat and I always pulled my 16" Larson flat boat behind it to get back into the stump fields to fish.
That flat bottom has a low transom and I have been caught in the 3.5 mile wide pool when the winds picked up in that shallow water and raised 4 too 6 foot swells in a hurry that I couldn't look over and that little wide 16' flat bottom always got me into calmer waters.
That's my friend Mike, I lost him 11 years ago; sure miss him still.

The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

There was a kid in a johnboat, maybe 12 ft long just zipping all over the place up there the other day. The only thing he had for a motor was an electric troller..

I have a 5 HP 24 volt Minkota on mine that does a fine job.
I should get that boat out of the shed and see if the motor still turns over.

Yessir sure wouldn't hurt to see if the thing will still hold water on the outside and not in.
