Hello,

I am set up to cast bullets and ready to lube. Have practice casting .45 cal Postel 530 grain bullets from Brooks mould and doing very well now. Much the same as the bullet I use from Harlan Sage. Have bought Saeco sizer die .459 but many choice of lube to start.

I thank you,
Ferenc

Not sure if that is a question about lubes or general statement.
I'd start out with whatever you can get your hands on easiest that is specifically for the powder you are going to use
maybe we can help if we have more info

RE: Bullet lube
DGL or SPG lubes are popular choices and readily available. I have used them both with the 0.459 bullets in the 45/70 and 45/90.

Best of luck,
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

RE: Bullet lube
I would buy some SPG and pan lube them rather than run them through a sizer. I expect that since you have a Brooks mould that it was ordered to cast bullets of the correct diameter.

Katonka, You're doing ok w/ English; we can understand you easily enough. Re: the DGL lube can be purchased from Shiloh Rifle, and the SPG lube can be purchased from www.blackpowderspg.com
Additionally, a lot of shooters make their own bullet lubes, and many work very well.

Don't hesitate to ask more questions, if you want to; many of these guys have a lot of shooting knowledge.

Regards

Like the others say, any popular lube will work. order whichever fits in with an order for other items since you maybe are not in the US.
None will work good if you live in the Sahara, all will work good if you live in the tropics.

Apology nem is no for Magyar. I try say that bullet sizing is not good? Gunlaker write Brooks mould that it was ordered to cast bullets of the correct diameter.
