We've had a lot of rain; 9" here in the last 8 or 9 days, and more forecast for tonight. Counting the 24" of heavy, wet snow in April we are really wet around here. Average for this country is about 15"/year.

RE: rain
Dakota 7 called the other day and said he was getting pretty sick of wearing rubber boots.
I hope we get some more, been working on some fence and the ground is pretty wet for about 12 inches , then it's dry and hard as a brick.. With the shortfall we had the last couple of years it's going to take some big soakers to get things caught up. Springs are all still dry, and the one creek isn't running much, and it just started running about a week ago.

Yup, gettin' kinda tired of it. Its rained 20 out of 30 days here this month, over 22" of the wet stuff. I got weeds 12" tall where notrhin' but rocks ever grew before . Creek behind the house has been bank-full for a week.
But you can bet that when it stops, it won't rain again 'till 2014!
