Kurt it never ceases to amaze me how smooth these BACO blocks cast. Had it not been for some air squiggles I could of kept the first three. I ended up with 75 cast all within 1 gr and 1 that fell to lite.Big Grin
Anyway have 10 loaded with Eynsford 2f and 10 with 1.5.
I suppose you're going to Lodi in the morning if you're not there already.
Hope the 44's treat you well.

Don.

I will pull out around 1500. Lodi is only 2.5 hours from me.
I'm not taking the .44. It went to sleep on me. Shooting on the 800 yd Buff when I was out in Neb. last week it didn't do to good. It just sprayed the big full size buff with no definite groups. It had me scratching my head wondering what was going on till Dick made a list on probables and asked if I annealed the brass when it hit me that I got my brass mixed when I cleaned a bunch. Some I fired several times and some only once after making the new brass. 300 or so got mixed together when cleaning the brass. I had three coffee cans full laying on the floor drying out.
I first thought it was the new lot of Br-2 primers from the new sleeve I opened or the alloy batch may have got mixed. That's why the 6 new pigs of lead Big Grin
One of those brain farts that have been showing up with me lately Confused

RE: Tomorrows mail
I'm taking the .45-90 because I can mount the scope on it so I dont cross fire. I cant read the numbers on the board and I have cross fired several times on that range. The .44-90bn is not tapped for a scope. I really don't have a load for the .45-90 for the patched bullet so I just dumped some 1.5 KIK in the case and hope for the best.
If I didn't already have the entry fee sent in or excepted Brent's offer to squad with him I would not be going. I really wanted to use the 100 but it's to late to be casting bullets with the new lead. Most likely be another wash out.

Well I better get the Truck fired up and git!
