Come on guys.....
you're asleep at the stick!! Nothing new appearing here for a bit! Surely some of you experimental types have something to report!! Show a few targets/groups if nothing else! I'm getting bored!! Headed to the range in a bit! It's warming up here but WET!! Corn is growing good; planted on 11 March. Soon I'll have a wall of corn on both sides of my range. Flying up to Kansas tomorrow with son and my grandkids to make the youth turkey season. I called up Toms for them last year and all three got their gobblers! Will have photos to post soon me thinks!Big GrinShy

Rick you must not be paying much attention. There's abeen a big discussion on the Eynsford powder, and Accurates moulds including the one Mike just had made for his new 44-77..Old Jim is tickled pink about the weather straightening up, and JimHay is considering real serious building his self a sluggun muzzlestuffer...

Took a bunch of different watermelon seeds to the nursery Yesterday. He's going to get them started for me in a couple weeks. Phone is starting to ring so it's going to get busy if it rains this weekend.

Got a new shotgun----used to be a 45-90 but now its getting really quirky. going to see if I can get that figured out before the MT 1000 or I'll have to use the 40-82. Using the 40-82 tomorrow for the LR Match.

You didn't leave it for a few weeks or month and forget to caress it when you went by did you. I swear these guns don't like being ignored.!! Same thing happened to my 45-90

Smile That's what you get for shooting that strange powder in it Smile clean the lead out and that shot gun will shoot like you poured persimmon juice down the barrel to pucker up that group Tongue
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Finally got into the casting shed this afternoon. Had to till the garden-plot once before that. Must have taken 2 hours of cleanin' up around the two lead-pots and to get my alloy bars sorted out. Then no power! Back into the house to set the breaker again and I was in business. Worked another 2 hours and ended-up with about 150 match quality BACO M-1 0.459 greasers. By match quality I mean they weigh 525-525.5, close enough Big Grin!

Jim
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

hadn't thought about that. maybe thats when it started. Been working on getting all the lead out. I can barely see a little gray on two lands when i drive a tight patch thru it. Might try getting it recrowned too. looks like one land is shiny where it comes out of the barrel.
