results after moving front sight
shooting is basically "zero wind"

at 100 yards group was just to the left of center of target

below is my 10 shots @ 200 yards with a basic zero wind and windage on sights set on "zero"

RE: results after moving front sight
I moved the front sight again today, when I first started shooting there was zero wind, my issues seemed to have been corrected, I was tacking dead center of target when I did my part

Great! Now you cam proof your sights for longer range by shooting at 200. Assuming you have a good sized target board, place your aming point at the bottom edge of the board and increase your sight setting 2 or 3 minutes from your 200 zero and fire 3 shots. Increase again a like amount and fire 3 shots. Continue until you run out of target board. If your groups wander in deflection, your rear sight is still not plumb. If it leans counter to the balistic drift of the bullet, it is well. If it does not, you know how to fix it or adapt to it and live with it. Adapting to it may not be such a difficult thing if you are shooting targets as you will have known sight settings for each target at each shooting range which you frequent. Where the bullets go is not as important as that they all go the same place; you can turn the elevation and deflection knobs and make the group go where you want it. Yours made a nice group in the same place.

I read that target as the only center hits were shots #1, #4 & #10
If that was my rifle. I would move the front sight .005" to the left.
You want your center(shot #9)to move right about 3/4 moa.

if you are shooting long ranges, that deadwind zero might be about right to allow for spindrift.

CL, did you try the wind flags yet?Huh
You want one where your shooting, and one at the target. Midway would be good. Don't see how you can do that as your shooting over water.

Wind flags are up, easier reading than the water, even though they are somewhat off
Line, puter is down and to much to type on phone

RE: results after moving front sight
ok, finally got puter to get on line, my 100 and 200 yard targets are on left edge of lake, wind flags placed on both of them, lake is 200 yards long, therefore I shoot my 300 yard target across the lake, wind flag placed on 300 yard target, at times the three flags will read different, this is a new learning curve for me, my past 2 shooting sessions I have set sights based on the 300 yard target across the lake. the 100 yard target is about 20 yards left of centerline of 300 yard, the 200 yard target is probably 45 +yards left of centerline of 300 yard target

Set/'read' your windage for the target your shooting at and from where your shooting.
You also get to learn to read mirage now.......

is reading "mirage" something that you acquire through experience, at 300 yards I am simply shooting target as I see it and I did very well yesterday
