Badger Barrels/Miroku rifles
Did all the BPCR Miroku rifles made for Browning and later for Winchester have Badger barrels?
I have a 34” 45-90 barrel from a Miroku/Winchester BPCR.

I think TexasMac has the information you seek on his website.

The bpcr barrels were Badgers.
Oddly enough the Winchester 45-70 I had , was a tighter chamber than the Browning, and fired cartridges from it were interchangeable with my Shiloh.

RE: Badger Barrels/Miroku rifles
The barrel I have had an off center chamber. A chamber cast showed rifling right up to the case mouth on one side but about 3/8” away on the other. Otherwise a perfect bore. I had the chamber cut off and the octagon portion turned round. It made up a nice, round, 31” barrel, about a #3 weight.
I don’t have a home for it as of yet.

Sort of have to wonder is someone didn't have their brand new adjustable wrench from Harbor Freight and a throating reamer from rentareamerr, trying to improve on the thing?

Jim,

The off center chamber was common with the early 85's My 40-65 has one also but it still shoots well.
