Been a forrest fire 20 miles SE of us for a couple of weeks. We get occasional smoke from somewhere but not sure where.

Lightning hit 1&1/2 miles S of me 3 days ago. They almost have it out...I hope
Watched 2 scooper planes hit it all day, 3 drops per hour. Very fast turn around

One good thing, if there is such a thing, it brings the new growth back better and gets rid of the pests.

If it rains some of the grass will be back,but in other places it burned hot enough to sterilize the soil
If it’s a gully washer rain that’s the burn scar it’ll probably was several places to nearbedrock

No they had it contained and there’s been some pretty good rains,so I think we’re good for a few days anyway
