22 Long Rifle 200 Yard Classic PRESENTED BY: Winnequah Gun Club LOCATION: Winnequah Gun Club - Lodi Wisconsin.

MATCH DATES: Aug 18th, 2023

COURSE OF FIRE: A. Standard Mid-Range 200-yard SR target from 200 yards. 25 Minute relay for 20 record shots. 4 sighter shots total after the first one cuts paper.

B. Reduced 300-yard SR-42 target from 200 yards. 25 Minute relay for 20 record shots. 4 sighter shots total after the first one cuts paper.

C. Reduced 600-yard SR-52 target from 200 yards. 25 Minute relay for 20 record shots. 4 sighter shots total after the first one cuts paper.

D. One single prep period per pit change. So, two shooters to set up on fire point and prep together. Such that the fire command can be given closely following the time expired command from the last relay.

RIFLES, EQUIPMENT, AND CLASSES: 1) .22 LR BPTR Rifle (Meets BPTR NRA Classification) iron or scope sights. Any Position, Cross Sticks or Wrist Rest. 2) .22 LR Open Rifle (Bolt or other non BPTR rifles) iron or scope sights Any Position. The butt of the rifle will be supported by the shooter only. There will be no bench rest. Load rifle one shot at a time. NO EXCEPTIONS! OPEN BOLT INDICATORS ARE MANDATORY!

PIT DUTY: All competitors are required to perform pit duty which includes posting progresses.

DAILY MATCH SCHEDULE: • 7:00-7:30 Saturday only check in/registration at the stat office • 7:30 role call and safety meeting at 200-yard line • 8:00 first shot down range • Results meeting 30 minutes following cease fire of last relay. ENTRY FEE: $35 entry fee. Walk on’s are welcome but limited to targets prepared. ENTRY LIMIT: This event will be limited to the first 80 entries. Competitors who are shooting the following BPTR match will have priority squadding if spaces fill up. SQUADDING: This event will consist of 3 relays with 3-person squads (shooter, spotter/coach, pit). Match director reserves the right to change this to 2 person relays (with 2 people in the pits) if the number of entries out paces the targets prepared. SHOOTING POINTS: shooting point can be driven to; no carts are needed. ACCOMODATIONS: There is a full hook-up campground located at the range. Nonelectric camping is free with electric hookup is $10 a night

ELIGIBILITY: Open registration, although we would like you to be a member of the NRA this is not a requirement RULES: 2014 NRA rulebook for blackpowder target rifle will apply for rifle requirements. There will be only three ammunition rules.
1) Your loads must be safe.
2) Your loads must meet the minimum bullet weight and velocities listed below.
3) Projectiles will meet the NRA rule book (plain base, lead alloy).

This means duplex or straight smokeless is allowed. Any other equipment or procedures not covered by the NRA rule book are prohibited. The match directors reserve the right to remove any unsafe load. For pit safety all matches between 800-1000 yards minimum bullet weight and velocity are as follows: Bullets may be up to 5% under weight as long as power factors ((Bullet grain weight * Velocity in FPS)/1000) are met.

CLASSIFICATION: There are no classes!! All competitors will compete head-to-head regardless of ammunition, sighting method, age, sex, or state of origin. Sighting systems shall meet NRA requirements with iron and scope sights shooting head to head.

MATCH SCHEDULE: Match#1---15 shots@1000 yrds---Saturday Aug 19, 2023 40 minute relay Match#2---15 shots@1000 yrds--- Saturday Aug 19, 2023 35 minute relay Match#3---15shots@1000 yrds--- Saturday Aug 19, 2023 35 minute relay Match#4---10shots@1000 yrds--- Sunday Aug 20, 2023 30 minute relay Match#5---10shots@1000 yrds.--- Sunday Aug 20, 2023 30 minute relay Match#6---10shots@1000 yrds--- Sunday Aug 20, 2023 30 minute relay Match#7---Aggregate of Match #1 thru #6

SQUADDING: This event will consist of 3 relays with 3-person squads (shooter, spotter/coach, pit) each relay will be as noted above called as a 3-minute prep, 35 minutes for unlimited sighters and 15 shots for record Saturday and 30 minutes for unlimited sighters and 10 for record Sunday. Note the first relay of the match will be 40 minutes to allow new shooters additional time for ranging shots.

RIFLES AND EQUIPMENT: All rifles, sights and cross sticks must conform to current NRA BPTR target rifle rules. NO EXCEPTIONS! OPEN BOLT INDICATORS ARE MANDATORY!

SHOOTING POINTS: All shooting points can be driven to, no carts are needed. AWARDS AND TROPHIES: At a minimum the 2-day aggregate score will be awarded. ACCOMODATIONS: There is a full hook-up campground located at the range. Nonelectric camping is free. Camping with electric is $10 a night. Local Hotels: http://www.booking.com/lodi/motels

Anyone got the results from this match last weekend? I could not make it but hopefully attendance was decent along with the weather.

The 2024 Lodi matches typically will not be scheduled until late this year or even into January or so.
