RE: cleaning/storing mold
LG, I believe it has something to do with us West Tenn folks having a lot higher "humidity levels" in our area, I could be wrong on this

I was watching the local weather this morning and our "humidity level for today is 86%"

I lived for 25 yrs, 1000 feet from the Pacific Ocean in Palos Verdes Ca.
That was when I started using WD-40 on my moulds. Never had a rust issue.
I only moved to the desert because of my Asthma.

Storing moulds? A 50:50 blend of 10Wx30 or 10Wx40 Valvoline and #2 diesel fuel works good. Spray down well w/ brake cleaner before casting a new batch of bullets, and you're good to go.
