Goex?
On Hodgdons web page in the about section, they say the bought Goex inn 2009 and sold it and the manufacturing facility in 2021....
Guess we wait and see what comes next.

Don, I think someone will pick it up. I hope.

Not that we've had access to Goex down here anyway for a long while but I keep my fingers crossed that its brought back from the brink, especially the O.E. series. Would be a sorry shame to see it disappear and a huge loss. Swiss is great
powder but a stronger, larger market and more competition is never a bad thing.

RE: Goex?
I have 35 pounds of mixed O.E. Mixed 1.5fg. and 2Fg. and reluctance to do load development for any new cartridge. Just slowly use it in known loads and cartridges mostly. Should be good for a few years until something else pops up. I would think that Estes would have an interest in making money and certainly sporting powder would be in their lane since they make sporting rocket model rocket motors.

RE: Goex?
If, the rumor mill is true, Estes supposedly called back all the Goex employee's that were laid off, and expect full production back by April.
Goex has in the past always produced fireworks powder, and rocket propellant, along with the military contracts and the sporting powders, so one would expect the same business model to continue with a new purchaser.
But we're still at the same place we have been, until there's official word we just simply won't know.
