The purpose of this match is to provide a high quality competitive experience that is fun for the shooters. Shooters not having fun and maintaining a positive attitude can expect to be ostracized heavily by their fellow competitors.
The Ironman Match consists of the aggregate of scores from 500, 600, 800, 900 & 1,000 yards.
Target assignments for Ironman Competitors will be assigned on March 24th. Don’t forget to put the name of your shooting buddy on your entry form and he yours.
Several shooters attending 2021 requested combining the Silhouette, .22 and mid range matches in a block as they were not and may not have long range capable rifles by 2022.
Thinking the same rifle and load for silhouette is viable in mid range and showing a strong interest in the .22 match that change was made.
Numerous requests for a long range sight in day was included prior to shooting the long range matches and has been scheduled on March 26th. Make sure you bring enough ammunition.
Awards and Banquet is scheduled for March 31st, time and place to be announced.
We are presently limited to 48 shooters for the black powder and .22 target matches. First come first served. Entry priority goes to competitors entering all seven black powder target Ironman matches. That 48 limitation may change so I will maintain a stand by list if entry is early. Late entries will be returned unless arrangements are made well in advance.
The Silhouette Range capacity and condition is presently unknown. Could possibly be less than 30 shooter capacity...again, first come first served. Get your entry in early.
