RE: 44-77 continuing development
In my other 45-90's they both seemed to like either 81 grains of OE 1 1/2 with grease groove, or 84 of the same powder with the same 530 +- patched bullet.
This one is liking 82 or 81 depending on the patched bullet. Tried a few of the original postel from the BACO mould Zack had them make , but the rifle didn't like em a whole lot. Some day I may revisit that bullet in the CPA, also thinking the Browning BPCR 45-70 might like them, but right now I've got other irons in the fire.
