RE: Starline brass
Don,

Good Luck with the .380... I have dies, a crap ton of .380 brass, not so sure on bullets as I don't even have a .380... I'm finding myself tooling up for all sorts of calibers as ammo is NLA... The joy of reloading and putting enough of everything aside that I'll need is that I essentially haven't bought any centerfire ammo in 35 years, and can help friends through the rough times.
One can definitely never have enough moulds!
I live in the I-5 corridor, smack between the twin mental asylums of Portland and Seattle: There is NOTHING available here in common calibers.
Last summer I got to range around quite a bit in off the beaten path areas (Central Oregon, BFE NorCal), and the availability of ammo and components was pretty good... One shop owner apologized because he only had 100 pounds of powder on his shelves!
I should get .380 and 9mm moulds... Plenty of lead here as well...
Best of Luck!

Tom I don't know how you guys manage to survive in the part of the world where you are. I see that there is some shipments of reloading supplies starting to be delivered at various outlets, so I suppose that at some point getting a set of dies for the 380 without paying scalpers prices on them will be possible.I suppose at some point the ammunition manufacturers will begin to catch up a little and primers will again become available.
The vast majority of my shooting is done via reloaded ammunition. Altho in the past, and i doubt those days will return any time soon, some stuff that I at times use a lot such as .223 was really available at a price it didn't particularly pay to reload for and for the most part would shoot just as well as most anything I could reload. Before we got the big prairie dog towns under control here on the ranch we would go thru hundreds if not thousands of rounds every month, and before the Ultra Max factory blew it was possible to get 500 rounds of 223 from various places at very low prices. I do have lots and lots of 223 brass , primers and bullets on hand.
A wise man can always be found alone. A weak man can always be found in a crowd.
