
Finally had a chance to work with the .44-77 getting the front sight in place and filed down for a 100 yard zero and the Lawrence rear sight notch filed open a little more so I can pick up the front blade.
Today was a good day for this with drizzling rain and dark heavy overcast day that I had the range to myself to get this done.
A while back Rick Mulhern nailed the Ace of spades I think at 100 yds with almost a dead center hole so with my last two rounds I had I got out the ace of hearts and tried to call his shot and raise him one

but didn't get the right cards

Never was good a poker
But anyway this rifle is going to be a good shooter. But I do need to get rid of the 45 degree wall at the chamber end.
