Just some photo humor. Actually the pullers were the best at this match that I've ever seen. The Wickenberg high school rifle team pullers were super for the USSIMLT and every body else did great pulling for each other. This was a very good match. Greg Burri and Ed Decker were outstanding match directors too.

I agree Steve, this was a great match, and I sure hope folks are thinking about coming next year.

That was just plain fun. Those target puller kids really had a good time when they got to come up out of the pits and shoot some of the rifles.
Skip said every time someone shot an x , who's ever target it was would shout hey I got an x and the rest of those young folks would all holler YEAH and clap. Smile

To see the young do this is worth more than anything.

Well Kurt mark your calendar up for March 5th next year and come join the fun. Smile Ed will be hiring that rifle team again next year. The gal that was shooting my Hepburn is a senior this year, she shoots a 284 that she built, but the bunch following along should be a hoot.
They have to pull targets in the F class matches, and get them down, marked and back up in 7 seconds before they can officially be on the team.
Great big kudos' to their coach.

RE: Phoenix 2020 report
I would have been there this year if I could have. Maybe next winter I will spent time in that location if health conditions permit.
We go to a old gold camp at Stanton just a short way from Wickenberg where we stay a couple months over the winter, it's less than a hour from Avery but I won't make a trip just to shoot the match from here.
I been at Avery and looked at the long range and the rest of the range and spent a night at their camp ground, it's a nice place. Did they have the vender booths open for this match?
But I like the Rio Salado Sportmans Club in Mesa AZ and I have shot on that range. That is also a very nice range.

I think there were a few vendors set up for the AZWINS match, but to be honest I never went looking for them. Stayed pretty busy with the match and then went back to camp and rested.

RE: Phoenix 2020 report
They had AZWINS vendor booths in the main drive across from the admin building. For a few days there were quite a few. Glanced at some nice flintlocks while driving buy but was afraid to stop. I have my hands full with what I already have.
