shootin long
If I had the motivation, would anyone be interested in a 800 or 1000 yard shoot in SE Wyoming? I have gong targets on the ranch I manage so it could be done. Have no real idea bout timing, but easiest would be over the winter months or very early spring. We'd have to shoot towards the east but it's good safe and easy to get to spot. Just wondering.....

There probably is some interest. I'ld say pick a date, put the announcement up here and other places and let's see what happens.

Hardest part of winter shoots is getting a good weekend. You can either take your chance and set a date a month or more in the future or pick a weekend coming up that has a good forecast and try for that. Probably won't get a big turnout the first time but even if 5 guys show up it could be the start of a fun match. Don't make it the first or second weekend and there's a 1% chance I'd come.

If I lived closer I would show up in all weather conditions Smile I'm not a fair weather shooter. Heck I do to the range when it's raining or below zero so I can have the range to my self to keep people from asking questions LOL.

RE: shootin long
Given a short notice I may be able to convince a couple fellas plus myself to show up... Have another shootin' iron almost completed, with a little prodding or coaxing maybe I'd get it done, besides that, with the weather we're having in N.E. WY all I do is work.
