RE: Gunner500 44/77 Shot of the day
Thank you for posting the pic Stephen, this is my best shot on game with a Sharps rifle to date, I saw movement as it stepped out in the range, we've had plenty of rain this summer and I had just brush hogged a few days prior.

I did cheat by using my binocular to see exactly what it was and which way it was facing, he came from the West, sat down like a dog facing dew East, when I brought the rifle up, he was a tiny brown spot sitting on a field of short green grass.

I fired, as soon as I could see after the fire and smoke left the front sight he was tumbling back down, I knew the rifle was still a bit high and to the right at 200, I held on the grass line at the back of his heels, still cant believe I hit that thing, hoping this practice in contrast of colors [brown on green] can come in handy in the game fields for years to come.

Thanks again Sir.

It was my pleasure Sir, maybe we can all send, post, and see new hunting and shooting pics this fall and winter.

I hope to be i.t. proficient enough by this fall to ask for posting something other than static pictures, thinking hard about go-pro live shots as they happen, bpcr, bow and muzzle loading, then e-mailing or mailing a thumb drive? for posting.

That will be where the rubber meets the road, good or bad shooting, all will be revealed.

I have a GoPro. I’ve used it at home but never out hunting. I really need to take it hunting.

Nice, I need to research a model and mount I can wear around my head and under the bill of my hunting caps, an auxiliary or wireless on/off switch would be more than good.
