Browning front sight removal
I have taken several front sights off off single shot rifles. I am trying to take off the front sight on my Browning BPCR and it will not budge. A hammer and brute force does not work. I need a sight pusher of some sort. Most of the time just a few light hits or heavy taps gets it moving. This one is tough. I’ve already broke a piece of wood out of the forearm by hitting it so hard. Any suggestions?

I'd put money on my Wyoming Sight Drifter. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Ok Steve. Your on. Send it to me. If it works, I’ll buy it and your product will get a great review on multiple websites. If not, you lost a sale, I keep it and bad reviews will ensue. I like your confidence in your product, let see if the product will preform.

RE: Browning front sight removal
I'll need an address. Want to PM me your address? I don't believe it's the do all tool, I do believe it'll do what is tough or impossible to get done otherwise. Normally, I sell the tool and guaranty it working to your satisfaction. So if it doesn't live up to your expectations, you send it back to me. My experience, and the comments from others including gunsmiths leave me feeling confident. If you choose to keep it, you send me the money. Why would you want it if it didn't work for you?

the WSD works great for me, and have used it on both bpcr and muzzleloading guns. what a godsend over using a hammer and drift!

I addition to tooling you might try a bit of heat from Hair dryer. Be sure to remove any plastic inners first. Previous owner might have use thread locker or some type of glue to "guarantee" no drift in front sight. Best

Thank you for kind words. Kevin's tool went out in this mornings mail. You'll likely get it by Friday I'd venture.

RE: Browning front sight removal
As I was drinking coffee and watching the sun come up today on a cool brisk 43 degree morning I realized I never got the mail yesterday. I walked up to the mail box and found a package from Wyoming. I love getting things from Wyoming and Montana and I don't know why. I got the sight drifter. What a simplistic tool. I got my rifle out of the safe and laid it on its side. Examined the tool and after the 3rd strike the front site moved. The first two strikes were poorly executed I'm sure just trying to get acquainted with the tool. It took about 10 more strikes but it worked and worked well. This tool is a must have for anyone who has a rifle with front sites. I can't wait to show it to my friends that shoot a lot. Thank you Steve. I hope you sell enough of these to retire and enjoy life to the fullest. You deserve it. This tool and its design is awesome. A check is on the way to you. Not only has Steve come up with a design of a tool that works great, he produces that tool, and comes on sites and promotes it with confidence. Give me a few days and I'll be putting my reviews on the internet sites. Thanks again Steve.

Thank you Kevin. Glad it worked out for you. The tool does have limitations but gosh it works well and works better than a hammer/punch most of the time. Let's hope it'll let me retire and soon. Like Monday! Steve
