Don, have you looked into Skinner sights for that Henry? I'm getting a set to put on my round barrel Henry, my brother has them on his already and loves them.

Also, for accuray testing I tossed a cheap throw-away 4x scope on mine and shot this ten shot group from a kneeling position at 25 yards. Not too bad for a cheap rimfire levergun I figure.

If the golden boy will shoot as good as the cheap models then you've got a winner all around as they look really nice.

George , no I haven't looked into those. She's been shooting it with the buckhorn and bead, and likeing it fairly well. I do think I need to pursue the clamp on lyman receiver sight, or get around to drilling the tang for a tang sight.
I am impressed with the accuracy of these "cheap" rifles.

They aren't as adjustable as the lyman or williams sights, but they look nice to my eye and don't snag too much.

Once I get the engine back together in my traveling car I'll give you a hollar and we can try and find a nice day to do some shootin.
