Front sight identification help

RE: Front sight identification help
Great find on that Shiloh Exclamation
May I recommend the you check the back of the forearm for contact with the front of the rec'r.
Most use a dollar bill as a 'gap-gauge'. You don't want ANY contact between the back of the forearm, and rec'r.
I set mine clearance with a business card-Wink
Excellent pictures, BTW!
Gary

Thanks Gary.

I'll have to check that out, thanks for the tip and the complement.

I still can't believe this fine rifle fell into my lap.

That front insert is cut a little like an original sight on a Ballard Perfection I have. Good pictures. Glad I could see them. For some reason I can't see everyone's pictures. Some come through and some just show me a huge picture icon. Gorgeous rifle btw!

Thank you. I'm happy to have it.
