problem solved
I have a problem......
I only have three Sharps ..a 50 70 carbine 1868 and a 74 sporting rifle both originals, and a Shiloh 50 90 13 pound beast.
SO. I needed another one, and my wife made the mistake of asking what I wanted for our 50th anniversary next year. ONLY WOMAN ON EARTH THAT UNDERSTANDS ME!

Called Bill Goldman, put in an order and I'll have it in three months or so. He even called back to say he called them ahead of my deposit check and put in the order. It's ' on the line' now... Great guy to work with...xtra $200 worth it.

1874, 40 70 SS, XX Fancy wood, pewter nose cap, custom bed. bone hardening,
standard weight barrel.(to match my original) and other options.

Now to watch the calendar,....or clock!
Thanks for all the help answering ordering questions guys....Ken

RE: problem solved
I got home late watching the Red Sox win, Yeah. and decided to add the barrel polishing to my order IF Bill could do it without causing a problem with the order. That was past Midnight....This AM around 5, I looked and his response of 'sure no problem' was there.
Looks like I picked the right place to order my new Sharps.
Darn, The clock STOPPED AGAIN... Ken

Two of mine have the polished barrels and they are gorgeous with the upgrade wood.
