RE: 40/82 Silhouette
Kurt the neck is .400 long down from the end,OAL of fire fomed brass is 2.415 and the neck measures .431 on the OD
Just got back from Chillicothe and measured them as I was putting then in the tumbler
It shoots real well,I got first place with it and 2nd with my 45/70. SHILOHS RULE. LOL
I take a redding full length sizer and screw it down to touch the shellholder then screw it up 3 1/2 turns to make the cartridge out of Starline 45/90

This rifle comes with 99 cases, a set of Redding dies, and 600 bullets..
When I was helping my neighbor get started with a 40-90 he picked up cheap I put 45-90 cases into a 40-65 die, loaded them with a bullet and fire formed.
Might try that process with this new rifle, and may shorten some 45-110 cases then give them the same treatment. Some folks say to use 45-100 cases.. It's a new adventure and I hope it turns out as well as Bill's 40-82
