Why would you have a bayonet snell on a target rifle? or are you thinking of the false muzzle snell to hold the false muzzle?

I stopped at a aw mill in Vermont once and took a couple 4x12" X 6' tiger stripe planks along home with me. One is on my Hawken Smile
