You cant hardly go wrong when you use the lathe to bore the hole in the rods they will be center.
Tongue Looks like I have to cut off 3" off the 4 I have and make mine a 6 piece rod Angry to get it to fit the possible bag Wink

Guys

I have had Steve Rhoads build a Rolling block rifle and line a 22 target rifle for me. He did a top notch job and did them in the time he quoted. You have to watch a guy like that. Never can be sure of them. (Hee Hee)

I have a cleaning rod for a M1 Garand in my possibles bag. Had to put two kits together to make it long enough. If fits in a little canvas bag about 3" x 7". Works great and as Lumpy said you can just drop one section down the bore to knock out a stuck bullet.

I have several M1 rods, I guess If it was an emergency I would use it in my Sharps, but only then Smile
