RE: Don, getting any shooting done in cow country?
The way they cover the weather here...they usually have all their bases covered. Rolleyes Right now at the house its about 92 F in the shade with humidity at about 67%. We'll probably reach the 100 degree mark before the end of the afternoon and then possibly an afternoon/ evening thunderstorm. All pretty normal for north/west New South Wales in December..but its not weather that calls me out wanting to shoot. I heard tell recently of parts of Montana at -20 with winds at 50 mph... that would ramp up the wind chill something considerable I'd reckon. Brrrrrrr... I could skate on the pool though... if I had any balance. Tongue

Yup , we've had as low as 28 below, but fortunately the winds were sort of lite that day only ran about 20. But there have been some winds around 70 mph..

Gavin around this part of the country they have a polar bear club and on new years day they cut a hole in the ice on New Years day no matter what the temperature is and jump in. My uncle belonged to it in Chicago and I watched them when it was way below zero and by the time they got dried off the hair on their heads was froze solid. Tongue
Y'all have a Happy New Year Gavin.........Kurt

Thanks Kurt but I may pass on the opportunity to 'make like a seal' Wink. I try and restrict my ice to a few cubes in the glass. Its the morning of New Years eve here so I'll take the opportunity again to wish you , Don and all on the forum all the best for 2017. Lets pray its a good one.
