Smile Looking pretty good Kevin.

You have a decent core group. Now you just have to figure out how to eliminate the flyers. Shoot straight, rdnck.

One of the flyers at 10 o'clock on the white round plate was the first shot out of the clean barrel. The other 2 flyers were shooter error. Stupid mistakes. So far I can repeatedly end up with that core group, no matter how the wind is blowing.

May I ask what bullet diameter you are using? Most 'Peters' like a 'fat' bullet around .460".
Also, make sure the forearm wood is not touching the rec'r at all.

It's .459.
Like my 1st initial post, it has new Green Mountain barrel, not the "peters" barrel.

Sorry Kevin-somedamnhow my brain just didn't 'see' the GM part. Rolleyes
Do you weigh each charge or volume measure?
How much neck tension are you run'n?
One other item to check, is bullet runout. Keep your T.I.R. under .003 total, and you're good.

Weighed each charge on digital scale. Seated bullet with Vickerman in line seating die. Expanded brass with BACO expander, don't recall diameter. Notebook paper between primer and brass while hand seating primer with RCBS primer.
