Badlands BPCR One Miler
Don't forget, the One Miler shoot this weekend. Test your ammo quality and all the steady hold factors.

Well, the deed is done and the match was won. Mark Lund first with 4 hits, Mark Chandler with 3 hits and Dan Cash with 2. This was a learning experience and is highly recommended for those who wish for a challenge and an address in Realville. We hope to see more of you next year.

No scopes. It takes about 3.90 to 4.30 inches of elevation to make the reach. If you can get your glass hiked that high, you would be welcome to use it.

The match was very small as this was our first one and all were busy shooting, spotting or cleaning so not much in the way of pictures during the shoot. I will post some of the range and the target tomorrow afternoon.

I think we will run the One Miler next year in conjunction with the Badlands Buffalo Shoot, probably the Friday afternoon preceding the Saturday and Sunday matches. We sure learned a lot from this match in terms of range prep and markings down range so the spotters on the line and in the bunker can better observe round strike.

Here you go for some pictures. I regret that my camera won't focus for a long range shot but we get to see the target from the observation bunker at 200 yards and dead on from 100 yards. The thing is easy to see, just hard to hit.
